Commercial-grade storage with dependable performance.

Unstiffened Grain Bins

Designed to meet the demands of commercial grain handling operations, these stiffened grain bins offer storage capacities ranging from 2,500 to more than 55,000 bushels. Built for durability and efficient grain management, each bin features large roof decks for improved accessibility, maintenance, and operational convenience in high-volume agricultural environments.

Large Roof Decks for High-Capacity Grain Handling

Designed for efficient grain loading and improved accessibility, the unstiffened bin roof system features a spacious 32-inch diameter opening to accommodate high-capacity filling equipment. Engineered for strength and durability, the reinforced roof peak is built to support larger filling systems used in demanding agricultural and commercial grain storage operations.

Engineered Roof Strength for Reliable Grain Protection

Built for long-lasting durability and weather resistance, these roll-formed roof panels are rigidized by the 3½-inch-high ribs to increase structural strength and stability. Each panel is securely fastened at the eave with a minimum of eight bolts connected to a continuous angle iron and rib brackets, helping protect stored grain and maintain roof integrity during severe weather conditions.

Specifications

TYPICAL GRAIN DENSITIES:

  • Wheat approximately 800 kg/m3 (50 lb/ft3)
  • Corn approximately 720 kg/m3 (45 lb/ft3)
  • Rice approximately 580 kg/m3 (36 lb/ft3)

* Capacities based on bin filled to eave with grain peaked in roof area at 28 degree slope. Bushels based on 1.25 cubic ft./bu. Metric ton calculations assume wheat at 800 kb/cubic meter; corn at 720 kg/cubic meter and rice at 580 kg/cubic meters.
